Dear all,
For our college international students who wants to apply for the scholarship for 2022 Fall and 2023 Spring, please see the description below. Please note: You will not be qualified to apply IF you are already awarded with NTU scholarship, MOE Taiwan scholarship, MOFA Taiwan scholarship and other of the same kinds.
College/Department Scholarship Application
A. If you have not received any scholarship or your scholarship will be due by this August, and want to start to apply, please prepare the document listed below and submit your application to ntuciaeae@ntu.edu.tw (to Mr. Jack Hsu with email title: College/Department Scholarship—your name, your department name) before May 20.
1. Official transcript of the last academic year (Required for undergraduate, graduates and PhD applicants)
2. One recommendation letter from NTU faculty member (Required for undergraduate applicants only)
3. Research progress report (Required for graduates and PhD applicants)
4. Recommendation Letter for Scholarship Application (See attached file, this is required for graduates and PhD applicants) (Note: your supervisor must provide fund support of NTD 8,000/per month for master student; NTD 15,000/per month for PhD student. Once get awarded, you will be waived the tuition fee as well)
Scholarship Continuation Application
B. For some of you who are now graduate and PhD students and have already received NTU scholarship with the awarded deadline by August 2023 or August 2024, you MUST provide the document below. We will assess your study performance and decide whether you can continue to be awarded with the scholarship. Submit the document before May 20.
1. Official transcript of the last academic year
2. Recommendation Letter from your supervisor
C. For some of you who are now undergraduate students and have already received NTU scholarship with the awarded deadline by or after August 2023, your assessment result will be issued by the Office of International Affairs (OIA).
