本次生工實習專題演講我們很榮幸邀請到新普科技的陳咏南總經理特助與我們分享電池產業與新普目前的研究發展方向，帶領我們由淺入深了解了諸多能源知識，從鋰離子電池開始，帶到電動車的發展和潛力，再提到智慧電網，即利用網路連結分散式能源以建構配電網路。未來若開發能源系統互聯網，將能夠搭配雲端資料中心和邊緣運算，即時管理每個社區、家庭的用電量，達成最大化的分配能源。而新普公司，貴為臺灣最大的電池模組解決方案供應商，現在致力於發展動力電池以及儲能電池與相關的解決方案，如運用演算法預測儲能電池壽命、發展儲能系統以應用於電子產品、資料中心、自動倉儲系統等。最後，陳先生跟我們分享了在職場上要有選擇公司的慧眼，要有遠見方能看見發展性及前景。

It’s our pleasure to have special assistant Kevin Chen from Simplo to share about the battery industry and their research and development status. He introduced the issues associated with energy including the evolution of Li-ion battery, potential and future of electric vehicles, and intelligent electric grids, which requires the internet to construct a decentralized electric distribution system. It’s anticipated that the power version of IoT is going to be developed. With the assistance of data center and edge computing, the electricity consumption of users can be monitored and managed in real-time so that the energy can be fully utilized as much as possible. Simplo is the biggest company that provides battery module solutions. They have been dedicated to developing the battery solutions, such as using algorithms to forecast the battery life and developing energy storage systems for electronics, data centers, auto-retrieval systems… etc. Last, he encouraged us that we should focus on the long-term outlook of both the company and the whole industry when choosing a career.
