The application of 3D printing technology in the medical field has begun to flourish, but the speaker pointed out that there are still three problems with this technology. Firstly, there are regulatory issues, such as whether products like epidemic prevention masks and rapid testing kits can be printed and sold independently. Secondly, there are post-processing issues, such as how to treat waste products after printing. Finally, market demand is also an important issue. The speaker pointed out that even if the technology and regulations are mature, if the market "demand" is insufficient, 3D printing technology in the medical field cannot be popularized. In addition to these practical issues, the speaker also introduced the current status and future trends of 3D printing technology, including the development of bioprinting technology, such as the reconstruction of body tissues and organs. There are also innovative medical materials, such as degradable magnesium alloys and compression screws. In addition, there are creative inventions, such as fast-decomposing drugs. In summary, 3D printing technology has entered the era of precision personalized-medicine. We look forward to the positive impact this technology will bring, while also paying attention to solving the regulatory and post-processing issues that come with it to ensure that the potential of 3D printing technology in the medical field is fully realized.
