簡凱廷 Kaiting Chien
is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chinese Literature at National Taiwan University.
He obtained his doctoral degree from the Department of Chinese Literature at National Tsing Hua University, with a dissertation titled "A Study on Kongyin Zhencheng: a Master at Mount Wutai in Late Ming China and His Thought."
His research primarily focuses on Buddhist literature and thought during the Ming and Qing dynasties, especially delving into Buddhist texts beyond the Tripitaka.
He also has a keen interest in the publication, dissemination, and interactions of Buddhist literature in other regions of Early Modern East Asia.
