The core courses offered by the Institute of Industrial Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTUIE) are listed below.

Data Analytics

Dynamic Programming

Fundamentals of supply chain management

Game Theory with Applications

Integer and Combinatorial Optimization

Introduction to Nonlinear Programming

Introduction to Optimization

Introduction to Statistical Control and Optimization

Introduction to Stochastic Modeling

Linear Algebra and Its Applications

Production and Operations Scheduling

Simulation Analysis

Time Series Analytics

The Institute of Industrial Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTUIE) offers the following core courses lecturing in English: Introduction to Optimization, Introduction to Stochastic Modeling, Data Analytics, Dynamic Programming, Production and Operations Scheduling, Time Series Analytics, and Game Theory with Applications. In addition to those core courses offered in English, more courses lectured in English can be found at the NTU Course Information.

The course forms a module of Quantitative Decision Analytics, which includes three fundamental courses: Introduction to Optimization, Introduction to Stochastic Modeling, and Data Analytics. Four specific subjects: Dynamic Programming, Production and Operations Scheduling, Time Series Analytics, and Game Theory with Applications are covered in the module. The three fundamental courses can be extended to these four subjects. Specifically, general knowledge of stochastic processes is a prerequisite to dynamic programming and production scheduling. The linear programming and integer programming methods are generally applied to production scheduling. In addition, the mathematical preliminary in optimization is extended to game theory. Several methods in time series analytics methods are also based on the methods learned in data analytics.
