講者簡介:

甘詠雯博士/助理教授,任職於維也納大學東亞研究學系,目前在台灣進行訪問研究。甘博士於包浩斯學院獲得博士,亦有建築專業背景,跨越香港、新加坡、利物浦、倫敦、巴黎等地,加入維亞納大學之前,甘博士任教於哥廷根大學(都市研究、華人社會研究)。甘博士的研究關注殖民建築空間在後殖民社會中的轉變、公共空間與歷史地理學及認同形成的相互影響、設計和食物創意的移動軌跡等等,近期研究田野包括香港和台灣。

Dr Liza Wing Man KAM has trained as architect in design schools and practices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Liverpool, London and Paris before she obtained her PhD at the Bauhaus, Weimar in Germany. Before she joins the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Vienna since September 2021, she was Assistant Professor of Urban Studies and Chinese Societies at Georg-August University of Göttingen and Research Fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity. She has been visiting scholar in universities and research institutes in Europe, US and Asia. Her research interests include: the transformations and its symbolism represented by the colonial architecture/space in various unique post-colonial settings; the connections between architecture, public space, historiography, identity formation and civic awareness; intellectual trajectories of design and culinary ideas with empire expansions and migrations. She has published works on colonial architecture and the creative ways of activism in the post-colonial Hong Kong and Taiwan.
