• Research Topic

           Our research team aims at solving problems of engineering, economic, and environment significance through various process simulation techniques (i.e. mass and energy balance, unit-wise simulation, rigorous process modeling, data-driven modeling…etc.) The current focuses include: development of novel green processes, thermo-conversion of biomass (e.g. pyrolysis, hydrothermal liquefaction, gasification…etc.), CO₂ capture and utilization processes, chemical process intensification, solid waste treatment processes, data-driven modeling on the real plants, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Aside from academic research, our research also extensively collaborates with industry. We welcome contacts for cooperation.
