On November 16,2023, NTU Institute of Industrial Engineering organized the on-site visit to Taipei Port Container Terminal Corp. This visit strategically designed is aimed to enrich students’ understanding of the logistics operations within a domestic commercial port.
During an enlightening lecture delivered by professionals from Taipei Port Container Terminal Corp. Students gained comprehensive insight into the intricacies of container wharf operations, including the regulatory aspect of loading and unloading cargos. Beyond providing an overview of Taipei Port, the visit afforded students the opportunity to witness the efficient functioning of bridge cranes, thus demystifying the operational aspect of Taipei Port.
