侏儒抹香鯨 /Kogia sima (Owen)
侏儒抹香鯨是體型最小的鯨， 因而得名，此隻於2008年擱淺於新北市石門區，為周蓮香老師團隊所發現。
周蓮香老師由1990年開始致力於鯨豚研究，出版《台灣鯨豚圖鑑》，對於台灣鯨豚保育與研究有重大的貢獻。
Dwarf sperm whale is the smallest whale species. This skull was from a dwarf sperm whale stranded at Shimen, New Taipei City in 2008. This specimen was collected by L.S Zhou, who has been dedicated herself to the cetacean research since1990. She authored “Guide to Cetaceans of Taiwan” and had made significant contributions to the research and conservation of whales and dolphins in Taiwan.
