小胖白鱲 /Gymnocranius obesus Chen, Miki & Borsa
是陳韋仁老師於2015年發表的新種，為台灣特有種。陳韋仁老師蒐集各種魚類樣本，透過分子生物學的分析方法，搭配傳統的形質觀察來鑑 定新的魚種。
This species of bream was described by W.J. Chen in 2015. It is an endemic species of Taiwan. Dr. Chen collected many kinds of fishes from the wild and identified them by analyzing their morphological characters and molecular sequences in combination.
