Students are advised to pay attention to the application deadlines, procedures, and prepare the necessary documents for the application.
 

Applicable to all students.
The following scholarships are available for local students, overseas Chinese students, undergraduate, Master's, and PHD's. Priority is given to those who face economic or cultural disadvantages. • Chia Fan Foundation Scholarship

  • Apply in the beginning of the second semester.

  • NTD20,000 per student with total 15 students.

• National Taiwan University Scholarships for Outstanding Students  

  • Representing and participating in academic competitions, bringing glory to our school.

  • NTD50,000(maximum amount) for individual，NTD200,000(maximum amount) for group/team.

Emergency Relief Grant

Provide financial assistance to NTU students who encounter sudden emergencies. The project includes support for unfortunate deceased students, families facing major difficulties, and those facing financial problems due to severe injuries or illnesses requiring medical treatment. For Overseas Chinese students and international students, please refer to Overseas Students Advising Division or Office of International Affairs.
 

Applicable for Overseas Chinese students

The following scholarships are available for Overseas Chinese students. For detailed application information, please refer to the provided links and the official website of the Overseas Students Advising Division.

• NTU Hope Scholarships and Grants 

  • Apply in the end of second semester.

  • Scholarships: NTD100,000 or NTD60,000, based on the student's status and academic performance (dispersed in two installments during first and second semesters).

  • Grants: NTD80,000 or NTD40,000, based on the student's status and academic performance (dispersed in two installments during first and second semesters).

• Overseas Chinese Associations General Association Scholarship for Overseas Chinese Students 

  • Apply in the beginning of the first semester.

  • NTD5,000 Grants, NTD10,000 Scholarships.

• Overseas Community Affairs Council accepts donations for scholarships and financial aid for overseas Chinese students

  • Apply in the beginning of the second semester.

  • NTD5,000~20,000, determined by the scholarship organization.

• Ministry of Education Outstanding and Elite Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships

  • Apply in the beginning of the first semester.

  • NTD10,000~25,000 per month, depends on each student's qualifications.

•  Overseas Chinese Affairs Council Scholarship for Overseas Chinese Students with Outstanding Academic Performance 

  • Apply in the beginning of the first semester.

  • NTD5,000 for excellent conduct, NTD50,000 for excellent academic performance.

• NATIONAL TAIWAN UNIVERSITY Encouragement Scholarship（for Master's and PhD's）

  • Apply in the beginning of the first semester.

  • NTD50,000 per student.
