瓶鼻海豚 /Tursiops truncatus Montagu
瓶鼻海豚的上下頜較長，故得此名，它真正的鼻孔是頭上的噴氣孔。海豚的皮膚光滑無毛，全身灰黑色，腹部為純白色。此隻瓶鼻海豚為2002年擱淺在新北市麟山鼻，體長300公分。
The bottlenose dolphin does not have a bottle-shaped nose. It was in fact named after its long jaws that shape like a bottle when closed. The actual nose is on the top of the head. The skin surface of the dolphin is smooth without hair. The skin color is dark grey on the on the back and white on the ventral. The body length of this displayed specimen is about 3 meters. It was found dead in stranding at Linshan Cape, New Taipei City.
